This position will team with other HR, benefits and payroll staff to assist in various administrative human resource functions for an 800 employee manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include: recruiting, new hire on-boarding and orientation, administration of FMLA/I-9/EEO and other employee programs and policies, employee relations and accurate maintenance of numerous employee records and files.
The successful candidate must be: confidential, an independent decision maker, organized, highly self-motivated, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to exhibit attention to detail and attitude of conformance to established procedures. Qualified candidates will also have: strong interpersonal skills, the ability to accurately prioritize tasks and the capability of working well with applicants, employees, managers, and vendors.
A four-year degree or human resource experience in a manufacturing environment and PC skills including spreadsheets, word processing, and Windows are required. Knowledge and experience in payroll and benefits administration would be considered a plus.
